When I click the extensions button, the "Personalize your Firefox" page loads. The extension menu does not appear. Steps: 1. All extensions are enabled. I have disabled them and re-enabled them. 2. In the Privacy and Security settings, I have confirmed that "Let Firefox make personalized recommendations" is unchecked. As the problem persisted, I unchecked every data collection box. 3. I have re-started Firefox, re-started the computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. 4. The extension button functioned perfectly well for the life of this computer. The only difference between yesterday and today is that I hibernated the computer last night. I always do that and the extension button always displays menu -- until today.

How to restore my history password and addons? I installed a couple of other versions of Firefox and now I have lost the history and password and plugins, but I still keep the tabs.

When we are getting dates and time in history like Chrome? Random months and in those months, no days, no dates makes Firefox outdated.

Why Firefox lacks having right click option (context menu) for multiple search engines like Chrome (Chromium browsers) and Edge has somewhat "Chrome-like omnibar in Mozilla Firefox"?

If I am using a certain search engine as default but don't use it all the time or want to use another without changing the default search engine or want to search a term or sentence via any search engine, then Firefox has no such option or addons (yes, checked thoroughly for latter).

Opera has from day one, Vivaldi also has it, Chrome allows it via extensions, Edge does via addons, Brave as chrome does via addons, Naver Whale (South Korean browser, underrated, seriously) has options to put more than 1 search engine for search results.

Hello! After the recent update, any text I insert remains without spaces and all words are written together. I disabled all extensions: no result. The problem did not occur in other browsers.

I'm on Developer Edition of Firefox. In previous versions of Firefox (Probably 132), I could share the window just fine, but since an update to either Teams or Firefox, it just results in a blank screen for viewers.

Firefox consumes almost 2Gb of RAM with only one tab open. I find this surprising, and it's a major performance issue for me.

This issue is not just for united4respect. I've encountered it in DNC phone banking login as well, it does seem to be a scale to win set of pages.

Issue: in order to log in to scale to win web pages, it requires me to type in my email address in the provided field in the link above. What I get: nothing. Typing does not happen What I did not do: go into troubleshoot mode What I want: is this an extension issue? Is it a FF Dev build issue? I don't have stable FF here. It's iffy troubleshoot mode fixes, depends on problem. What I did: use chrome. It worked. I prefer FF.

Later: I checked the 2 extensions that could possible be at fault, and they are NOT it: malwarebytes and ghostery extensions. I disabled both. I tried typing in the scale to win website, regular FF mode (not troubleshooting). Still no typing allowed.

I then changed fonts from arial to times new roman. No difference, no typing takes place.

It's a bit weird, I got the thing you get when you migrate to a new browser - asking if you'd like to migrate history and bookmarks. I closed it because I've used Firefox for years.

When Firefox opened proper, I got a tab asking to restore the previous session, along with a "Welcome to Firefox" tab. As well I got a few popups for other things, basically just stuff you see when you open Firefox for the first time. A couple of extensions opened up a landing page that should only open when you first install them.

All my bookmarks and browser history is there. The settings have all been reset to default. The extensions are there but all of their storage seems to be gone, like my dark reader extension no longer has the exception sites on it. Ublock has the ad count reset and most importantly all my custom rules are gone! I have spent years making hundreds of custom rules, and quite a few took hours to get right. I am sad about losing that.

Does anyone know what might have happened?

The ones in the pictures where just the first couple and I show them because they seem to have something to do with this situation "auto migrated" - when it seems like the browser did this because it thinks it migrated, the first screen I got was asking if I'd like to transfer my bookmarks and history (and good thing I closed it,or it might have deleted those too).

After a recent update, I noticed that my toolbar changed suddenly. I was able to rebuild it how I like and most of it stays, however, the "Open A New Tab" button refuses to stay where I want it.

Whenever I open a new window of Firefox, the "Open A New Tab" button is found on the leftmost side of my screen beside the new tabs. If I go to the "Customize Toolbar" page, I am able to move it so it stays to the right of the rightmost tab, which is where I want it to be.

Anytime I open a new window, whether it's through dragging a tab onto another monitor, or opening Firefox the first time after turning on my computer, my change gets reversed.

How can I permanently move this button to the desired position?

I'm having a number of issues but for this post I'd like to concentrate on userChrome.css.

In version 109, I had a custom font for the top menu bar, the top menus, the bookmark toolbar, the bookmark toolbar menus, and the right click menus. I did this by including the following in userChrome.css (as per [https://support.mozilla.org/si/questi.../1335097|here]:

This worked great, but it is no longer working in version 132. Obviously I don't know in which Firefox version this stopped working.

Has this been disabled by Mozilla or has it been changed? If it's been changed, how can I achieve it now?

using Firefox Developer Edition Version 130.0b5 (64-bit)

https-only mode is enabled for all windows enabled, with a couple exceptions. one of those exceptions is www.bom.gov.au , which does not support that mode. anytime someone tries to open a page from there in said mode, leads to a page that redirects to it's homepage, highlighting that it is unsupported, and changing from any specific url to the redirect url.

in the past it worked well to have this page listed under the exceptions for https-only, always loaded without a hitch. but now it's treating the page as not an exception. i've removed it from the exception list and tried loading, re-added and tried loading, but the result is always the same. can anyone please help?
