Hi, I am not sure what happened to all my browser when i run a search. There appear to be the following:

1. Many ads around 2. 1place.org kept appearing as my first search result 3. double underline ad text.

I have run malware scanner etc but there is still no help. I have managed to capture a screen shot of what happened. Do let me know and i can attach the word doc of the screenshot i have taken. Thanks!

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and look for a good add / pop-up blocker.

How many malware programs did you use? Run several of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
