How can I place the bookmarks from a Linux installation onto a common /home partition for multiple Linux distros on separate partitions to access?

Firefox 17 running on Linux with multiple Linux installations on separate partitions with a common /home directory on its' own partition.

I'd like the json files to appear only on the /home partition and each instance of Firefox to read & write json files here only

Hi,

One way would be to start the Firefox Profile Manager in each Linux instance and point it to a profile folder of another Firefox installation, preferably one which has been satisfactorily customized. You can then delete the default profile in each Linux installation.

Thank you, that worked perfectly.

There may be another way to point Firefox to the new profile location but I appended the new profile I created to the bottom of my profiles.ini for each instance of Firefox on each separate partition.
