Emails not downloading
I have not had emails download into the Mozilla Thunderbird app on my laptop. when I click "get messages", I get the messages that say "connected to host" "checking emails" "downloading 1 of 93" then "download complete" yet there are no new downloaded messages. When I go to webmail, I see all 93 missing emails. I am not sure what to do. I am thinking about deleting Thunderbird then reloading but I have filters and templates that I don't want to loose.

disable email scanning in your antivirus product.
I found my problem but I don't know what caused it. In comparing my emails in the mozilla mail app and the webmail and the messages showing when I clicked "Get Messages". A message from 10 days ago got hung up in the download process. It was repeatedly trying to download but not completing the download. I found over 20 instances of the email. The email was coming from an advertising email. So I went into the webmail and deleted all the emails from this advertiser. When I opened up the mozilla email app, it was working correctly and my missing emails were downloaded.
