Dear Mozilla Support:

In Thunderbird version 31.5.0, when I close the Thunderbird program, I get the ERROR MESSAGE: "List index out of bounds (0)" . This same message occurs infrequently when I close other programs also, but occurs MOSTLY on the closing of Thunderbird, but with NO regular appearance of this message.

Please advise.

Thank you, DAVE

your browsers user agent string indicated your using internet explorer 10. As the problem affect more than Thunderbird it may well be internet explorer related. I suggest you update to internet explorer 11 or another browser entirely.

bold text Dear Matt, Thank you for your quick reply, but this happens no matter which browser I use, and I use IE (which I cannot update no matter what I try), Dragon, Chrome, Opera, and Firefox. Also, I get this message after other programs close, sometimes - NOT just Thunderbird, but mostly Thunderbird. Best wishes, DAVE

Googling on that error it comes up that a lot have to do with updates mostly after a Windows update. reverting back to an earlier servicepoint usually helps.

You mention Dragon.... That integrates itself into just about all running processes and could well be the source of your problems. I guess is that all non Microsoft programs might display the issue as the software appears to be tested against Microsoft product in the main.
