A few updates ago, headers and footers started appearing on anything I print from Firefox. No other printing from any other source does this. All the settings (advanced settings) show header/footer as off, and 'none' in all the header footer options. I have attempted every combination available and can't get rid of the headers and footers. I Don't Want Them!

Environment:

Firefox on Windows Web app prints PDF by creating an iframe with a blob URL, then calling iframe.contentWindow.print() Library behavior is similar to print-js (PDF iframe print flow) Problem:

When Firefox PDF handling is set to “Open in Firefox”, printing mostly works. When Firefox PDF handling is set to “Save File”, the same blob iframe print flow often fails: print preview shows blank page / about:blank or preview shows an extra trailing blank page print dialog options also differ from normal PDF preview flow What I already confirmed:

iframe src (blob URL) looks valid and similar in both settings issue is reproducible with same PDF data fallback to image-based printing works but degrades UX (different print panel/options, possible scaling differences)

Using Mozilla as my browser, I print from my Lenovo laptop to my HP Office Jet 8025e printer. The headers and footers have disappeared. The "print Header/Footer" is checked in the printer settings, but they do NOT print. This change has occurred during the last couple of weeks, perhaps as the result of an update. It seems that checking or unchecking that box makes no difference now. Same result regards...no Headers or Footers. Please advise.

I keep having to roll back to Version 149 to avoid having all drop down options printing. I've seen other support questions stating this has been fixed, but it continues to appear on every site I print from. It is happening whether I use Ctrl-Atl-P or a print icon on the website. It is printing every drop down option as a separate box AND it also prints every "right panel" index as a separate box at the top of the print page.

This is occurring in every version of Firefox after 149 that I try.

We recently had an update on our printer drivers and somehow this has swapped settings from the previous system print dialogue to "Firefox - Print". The Firefox print dialogue does not have print preview and I need to be able to see a print preview. I've noticed that this was an issue in the past and people have solved it by going into about:config and setting print.tab_modal.enabled to false, but this hasn't worked for me. I am asking this question because if I can't find a solution I will have to switch to Chrome so I can see a print preview and I would rather not. If there is another way to force the system print dialogue instead of Firefox, please let me know.

Every time I try to print multiple copies of a document (PDF or word, not printing a webpage), the printer instead shrinks the page size to around 1/4 size on normal letter paper.

I have checked all my printer settings, reset firefox printing settings, reset computer printing settings, and gone into all the printer menus directly. Even if the page size is set to 100% size, it will still print as a 1/4 image as long as I am trying to print multiple copies directly from the firefox browser (or Firefox PDF viewer).

I also tested it on multiple printers as well as single vs double sided. On Firefox, if you print multiple copies of any document (not screenshot or print-webpage) it will shrink it into a quarter sheet. This works against double sided and single sided.

As for the types of documents: this is for every .docx or .pdf form printed off of Firefox (even pre-existing .pdf documents opened in the Firefox pdf viewer), as long as I am printing multiple copies. If I open the same .docx or .pdf in Adobe, the issue does not arise.

Both me and another coworker have the same issue (both use firefox) and other browsers do not have the same shrinking issue while printing. I believe it started around a month ago?

I am trying to print a statement, In the text itself it is the correct font size; however, when I print it is so small I can hardly read it. How do I increase the size of the printed statement

since one of your updates it is impossible to just print an email from the print icon - I have to keep opening new boxes and in the end it might print - complete waste of time and I am thinking of leaving Firefox completely.

is there no-one - a real human I can call?

When I want and try to print a document that I've accessed from a website with my Firefox browser, the print options in the box on the right side of my screen is grayed out for printing in color and I can only print in black & white. I have a Brother laser color printer. This is a relatively new problem. I don't know why the color print function is grayed out. I couldn't get a good answer from a Brother tech when I called them on this problem.

I am use a Phomemo Thermal Label Printer for labels and packing slips. The print preview shows the whole page, but prints only a partial page and small print. Tried all setting but no difference.. See photos

New (to me) issue, was not happening prior to system and browser updates. Using MacOS Tahoe 26.5.1 with Firefox Version 152.0.2 (64-bit), when I attempt to use keyboard shortcuts to copy paste into print dialogue (when I use Destination 'Save to pdf' and want to paste a file name I have copied), I get an error noise and no copy/paste happens. Using "right click" copy/paste is working properly (allows copy/paste of text into print dialog save to pdf name box). I have no custom keyboard settings for any apps and this issue is not occurring elsewhere in the browser (and is not occurring in other browsers). Have done the normal, updating OS and browser, used terminal to kill the clipboard and restart it, and restarted system and browser a couple of times. Would love to know if there is something I can do to fix this as I use this function frequently.

I use a program called Ultimate Guitar Tabs. It is fantastic for finding chord sheets for playing guitar songs and being able to download them as a PDF file with the lyrics and chords shown. Unfortunately I have tried doing this simple press of a button save as PDF in Firefox and all I get is a colored screen either blue purple red etc and no PDF. I have tried the exact same thing in Google Chrome and it does it flawlessly. I don't want to use Google if I don't have to, but at this stage I have to and would be pleased if Firefox could address this problem and make life easy again. I updated Firefox today and everything seems ok except for this PDF problem. I imagine their will be other people affected by this and it may not seem like a big deal but Ultimate Guitar Tabs is the industry standard for teaching people how to play songs on guitar and is used by most muso's world wide to teach students how to play specific songs. Please note It affects both Linux Mint (My main system) and windows 11 (My Laptop). If Google chrome can do it on both Linux & Windows 11 I am sure you should be able to address this problem.

Please advise asap if you need more info etc.

I've been using Firefox to display and print PDF files for some months but suddenly it no longer works for me, The particular document I'm trying to print has 10 pages, each full of colorful images and text. I've been printing issues of this same periodical for months using Firefox with no difficulty. Now the pages look fine, but as soon as I try to print them I get 10 postage-stamp sized images, each in the center of its own, largely blank page. Can anybody help?

I've used Firefox since Revision 15. I've used Adobe Acrobat 9.5 Pro Extender for almost as long.

I have Win 10 Home, all updates applied. My system is 64-bit. It has 32GB of RAM. Some tabs - e.g., www.yahoo.com/finance - balloon and consume so much RAM, that I have to restart Firefox.

After most recent updates 151.0 Adobe no longer will print to .pdf. This is HUGELY disruptive.

Having used computers for work for over 45 years, I understand it is hard to ensure that an update does not become a down-grade.

I do not want to to move to a newer version of Acrobat. What I have works well for me.

Can someone PLEASE make whatever changes are needed, so that Adobe Acrobat works smoothly?
