Hello,

I recently had an issue where I accidentally closed Firefox in such a manner that it did not save my Tab Groups... Should that be possible?

I am trying to recall the steps to cause this to happen. At the time I had two Firefox windows open: one with all of my usual tabs, and one with a single tab open. I believe the steps were as follows...

1. Closed Firefox window with all of my usual tabs open
2. Closed Firefox window with the one tab open
3. Opened Firefox, and the session with one tab open came up
4. Closed that session
5. Opened Firefox again, one tab open
6. Checked the 'List all Tabs' - Recent tab groups, Show All - This was blank

I assumed that Tab Groups would survive sessions being closed like that like how Bookmarks do, am I wrong in that?

Sorry, I am writing using a translator. Every time I close the browser, all the tabs I haven't pinned get closed. My brother doesn't have this problem. What should I do? Is there a way to stop them from closing every time I restart the browser?

I use tab groups to save work sessions so I can easily close and reopen them when I need them. I typically use the downward arrow to see all of my tab groups, however, when I opened my laptop today, there are only two tab groups there and no "show all" option. When I opened my laptop today, I did see that Firefox had been closed unexpectedly and the restore sessions option, which I used. The two tab groups I had open when I left my laptop opened again when I used restore sessions, but now those are the only two tab groups I seem to have. How can I get back all of my other tab groups?

I don't know what happened. I must have hit the wrong button but I can't get back to what I had. This is a nightmare. I forced quit Firefox and restarted but it did no good.

would it be possible for me to save a whole window for a later date. this window has multiple groups and tabs. I'm looking for something like the recently closed window but it is there permanently for when i want to open up that window again?

I have vertical tabs turned on. Say i want to watch a movie, i press F11 or fullscreen to open it fullscreen. It makes the whole page fullscreen, but the vertical tabs remain still on the left. I want that fixed so that vertical tabs are hidden when its fullscreen.

Trying to get stuff done. It's hard when you start a task in one tab ,switch to another tab to start another task, and when I switch back to the first tab, it hadn't completed the task, it actually paused when I left it. What's the point of multiple tabs, when only one is working at a time? I expect it to continue with the task, while I go elsewhere to complete a different task.

This should be simple. Your site sends a message saying do I want to update MY TABS WILL BE RESTORED. It DOES NOT say I need to go through history and check forums and consult outside parties. I'll keep this in mind the next time a silly tedious update comes around.

Hi, I was a heavy user of the multi-account containers extension. Since FF now has that functionality built in I disabled the extension recently (more than a week ago). My company keeps FF up to date - currently on 153.0.3 aarch64

All tests have been performed with other extensions (ublock origin and auto-reader view) disabled.

Since the last update (last wednesday I think, 5th. Aug.) I've been unable to access the AWS or Azure portals from a container tab, though it works correctly from the 'bare' browser.

I've cleared cookies and site data for the whole browser (made no difference)

I've cleared cookies and site data for the container tab - this now allows me to sign into Azure (which is a prerequisite to signing into AWS), but AWS is still blocked with a microsoft message "We cannot sign you in, try a different user name"

If I use the bare browser, no container, I can sign into the AWS SSO portal correctly.

What can I check to help diagnose this? MacOS Tahoe 26.6.1 Firefox 153.0.3

I am unable to press new tab or even use Command T to open a new Tab. The New Tab button seems greyed out as if I've hit the limit for tabs, but I don't have too many tabs open. Not even the keyboard shortcut is working which quite surprising. I am able to create new tabs if I open a new window, so I am not completely unable to create new tabs, but i was just curious as to why this might be happening to my current window.

The plus sign to add a new window has disappeared. I search and went into Customize toolbar but there is no option to add the + sign back in. This happened previously and I was able to fix it. Now I can't. What is going on? what are you doing with firefox to make it so difficult to use. NOW I have to use chrome. I have been a loyal advocate for firefox for decades!

I am using 102.10.0ERS When I am right click left top of the tab there is no option is seen but in 102.0.0ERS have right click they given a option what I will do that 102.10.0 ERS came right click option

Is there another way to reopen my recently closed tabs which happened yesterday. When I hit the HISTORY button, the arrow I tried to open ( 'recently closed tabs' ) was not accessible (grey). Or did I accidentally hit a wrong button without noticing it, and how can I reverse it if I did? Thanks in advance.

I used to use the Google browser and within that I had a tool where I could put what looked like a sticky note on my emails and make notes like when I received the email, when I followed through on it, etc. I hear there is a tool like that for Firefox named Tags but cannot find it in my Settings. Has anyone found this and can you tell me how to access it if you have?
