Have you tried to update the WidevineCdm plugin?

1. Click the menu icon in Firefox
2. Click Add-ons
3. Select Plugins on the left panel
4. Click the ... to the right of Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.
5. Check mark Always Active and navigate to Manage
6. Click on for Allow automatic updates

Also, is your graphics card driver and is Windows 10 up-to-date??

Do you have the latest version of Firefox?

1. Click the menu icon in Firefox
2. Click Help(?)
3. Click About Firefox
4. If available click Restart to update Firefox

Hope this narrows it down.

Thank you for your answer and helping hand. It does not solve the problem. I tried many things I found on different places.

Such as: new Firefox profile. DRM of/on. (Windows/firefox/plug-ins) Software and drivers are updated and oke. hardware excelarator on/of.

My AMD Grafic driver (AMD Radeon HD6720G2) I can not update anymore. It is not supported anymore. It is to old I gues.

Thanks for the update. Since we know you have issues with all web browsers with Widevine, are there certain videos or sites that are causing the problem?

Do you have any security software that could be interfering with playback?

netflix does not work. And for example also not: https://www.npostart.nl/ My only security software is Windows defender. How can I know if there could be something interfering with playback? I even do not know what playback is. But I have also an error seen with the word Playback in it. I found it again: "the media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support."

I was looking for a specified video card on the AMD website and I was unable to find the Radeon HD6720G2 that you had mentioned.

If you would like, and if you haven't already, you could try the Auto-Detect feature on the AMD support webpage. This feature will install drivers from clicking the button DOWNLOAD NOW near the bottom left corner of that website.

It will be hardware related you say. But how can this be? It just came out of the blue. I had never had this problem. And I have not changed any hardware! So it must be an software problem! I have the feeling that it started after an update from Windows. I have also tried to undo this but it is not working either than. .....???

Maybe try the 32-bit Firefox version.

Same problem. Started Sept 13 without me changing any settings or doing any updates. Windows 7, Firefox 69 (64 bit). Occurring on Spotify, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix. All these sites work fine on Chrome or IE. And prior to last night, all those sites worked fine on Firefox.

I've done all the above suggestions. My Widevine shows it updated Sept 14. I've turned off ad blockers, tracking etc.

I did all the options Netflix suggested for DRM errors.

There are two buttons, "Reload Page" and "Submit Crash Report". Reloading the page does not fix the video. "Submit Crash Report" seems to do nothing.
