formatted C:/ Drive, and re-installed windows, Lost bookmarks. Can i get bookmarks back?
Did not make nay backup of BOOKMARKS before re-installing windows.
Recently i had virus in windows, formatted C:/ Drive, and re-installed windows, forgot to backup Firefox bookmarks.
Can i get bookmarks back from MOZILLA SERVERS or something like that?
please HELP !!

If you didn't create a backup of your personal data (bookmarks) and you do not have a C:\Windows.old folder folder then I'm afraid that your bookmarks are lost for good.

hi, have you used firefox sync in the past? other than that your bookmarks stay solely on your harddisk and won't end up on mozilla's servers under any circumstance!

No Sir, i did NOT use Firefox "Sync" ever in the past.
So now, is it a game over? or i can still get those bookmarks somehow..?

Firefox automatically creates backups of your bookmarks, which can be helpful if your bookmarks are lost or missing. To recover them, follow the instructions below.
- Use one of these methods to open the Bookmarks Library window:

i am glad u helped.
dear sotos, i did check in the bookmarks "import and backup" menu. it does not show any dates in the restore menu.
i am realizing that my loss is not recoverable now.
dear cor-el since i formatted my c:/ drive, so there is no chance of C:\Windows.old folder. I may have such folder if i "upgrade" my windows to some later version.
