Turn on Quick Answers
Before using Quick Answers, make sure the feature is enabled.
- Open Firefox on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the menu button.
- Tap .
- Scroll to .
- Turn on Quick Answers.
You can also enable Quick Answers from the Site menu:
- Open the Site menu.
- Find .
- Turn it on.
When enabled, the setting displays On.
Ask a question
After enabling Quick Answers:
- Open the Firefox Home page.
- Tap the Quick Answers microphone button.
- If prompted, allow Firefox to access your microphone and use speech recognition.Note: The permissions Firefox requests depend on your version of iOS. On iOS 26 and later, Firefox only requests permission to access your microphone. On iOS 18 and earlier, Firefox requests permission to access both your microphone and speech recognition.

- Read the AI-generated answer displayed on the screen.
Quick Answers provides concise text responses rather than spoken answers.
