How can I revert to the old layout of Firefox? In the new update the settings button and the tabs button swapped places and I don't like it as it doesn't make sense. I also want to have the settings button open the scroll down menu on the right instead of coming up from the bottom of the screen as it doesn't make sense to have that occur.

Hello, the recent update which changed the positions of the “tabs” and meatball menus, as well as eliminating the homepage button, has made navigating the browser features much less intuitive. The now seeming lack of the option to return to my homepage from an open tab is quite frustrating.

This isn’t a bug or anything, just one long-time user’s experience and opinion. Thank you for your time!

Can we look at adding the ability to customise the bottum menu bar in firefox for ios.

previous the middle button use to be home but now has changed to search, it would be good to be able to customise at least the middle button depending on the functionilty required.

自分はiPadでFirefoxを使用しています。以前は常時画面左上にホームページに飛べるボタン（事前に設定したURLに飛べる家の形をしたボタン）があり、大変快適だったのですが、最近のアップデートによってUIが変更され、そのボタンが消えてしまいました。これによってかなりこのアプリは不便になり困っています。また、常時画面右上にあったブックマークしたリンクが並べてあるところにアクセスできる星型のボタンも消えてしまいました。これは運営が意図した変更なのでしょうか？他のユーザーもこの変更には困っていると思います。もしよろしければ、以前のようなUIに戻していただきたいです。また、これは要望になりますが、ブックマークしたリンクが並んでいるタブを開いてブックマークしたURLにアクセスしたときに、それを押してもそのブックマークタブが画面から一旦消えることなく恒常的に画面に表示されるようにしていただきたいです。そして、sprit viewを使用しているときにブックマークタブからブックマークしたURLに飛ぶとき、一旦そのブックマークタブを閉じないとサイトをスワイプしたりタップすることができなくなるような仕様にはしないでいただきたいです。常にブックマークタブが画面のどこかに表示され、常に画面に出して置けるようにUIを改善していただきたいです。よろしくお願いします。

After years of hoping for a dedicated new tab button in Firefox for iOS, my wishes were answered this morning when I installed the Firefox 140.2 on iOS. As explained in the release notes, there is "a sleeker, more intuitive Toolbar and Tab Tray — with smoother animations, simplified controls, and a modern look that feels right at home on iOS." What's more, it replaced the (IMO) useless "home" button with a BEAUTIFUL one-tap new tab button! I was overjoyed!

However, a few hours later, my Firefox UI has reverted back to the old way. It still claims to be on version 140.2, so I don't understand how that happened. As far as I can tell, there are no options within settings to get the new UI.

What happened, and how can I take advantage of the new UI?

I don’t seem to be able to add a Home Button within the Browser since it updated to the latest version. This is very frustrating as it gets used all the time. Please explain how I can add a home button.

Hello! After the recent Firefox update, there’s no longer a home button in the task bar. Is there a setting on the iOS app to get this back? I miss having the ease to change a page immediately to my home page, without having to open a new tab and close the old one. Thanks!

A little square used to pop up when I clicked on the searchbar on my iPhone, but it seems to have stopped doing this with the latest release. Can anyone please help me find it, or if it has gone, then please confirm to me?

I can still open QR codes by opening the Camera App first, but the Firefox QR code reader was always easier to use, and I just like it more!

My Firefox automatically updated and the new version is not suited for me. The change of the buttons and the inactive tabs opening was bad. Now my tabs feel too full and messy, but the inactive tabs made it so I didn’t lose anything. Overall the update changed too much and I don’t like it.

The new tab page is amazing on iOS but if I disable the four options on settings>support the tab page rolls back to the prior version using the old layout without that beautiful animation. Thanks.

1週間ほど前にFirefoxがアップデートされたのか、インターフェースの見た目が変わりました。 それ以降、検索バーに文字を入力すると、入力中のテキストの背景に濃いグレーの色が表示されるようになり、文字（黒）が非常に見づらくなって困っています。

この背景色の変更は、Firefoxの設定で元に戻したり、調整したりすることは可能でしょうか？ あるいは、ユーザースタイルシートなどを使う必要があるのでしょうか。

Is there a setting for New browser tabs or initial App launch? I know how to adjust zoom per tab that is loaded, but when I “open“ a new tab it’s always 100%. I prefer to see more content, thus a lower zoom such as 90% or 75%, which I can always adjust after the fact.

Firefox iOS will fetch the web site icon when I open and view the bookmarks list. The web site icon fetching behavior would consume my expensive mobile data (4G/5G network).

Hello. I would like tell about a problem. Before the icon was black, but now it is WHITE. it’s so ugly! I wanna change it to black color. how I can do it? Please make the iOS app background changeable back to dark. It looks terrible with white background, in my opinion. Please make it background color an option in the settings. Thank you.

I have been looking all over Firefox for the setting to change the icon (was included in the latest update notes) but it’s nowhere to be found for me. Am I missing something?

The release notes for Firefox for iOS 137.0 mention a new icon picker. Where can that be found? Same question for the new “Appearance Menu”. I don’t see either of these anywhere and the release notes give no details. Definitely have 137.0 installed.
