I logged into my Firefox Sync account last week on a newly re-imaged computer. My old computer is listed under "Connected Services" and for the first few days, when I selected "Sync" from the top right menu, the subsequent menu included the name of the the old computer and the list of tabs. That list of tabs is no longer listed and I haven't been able to find a way to access it. Attached is an image of the menu where the list of tabs was previously listed. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have Firefox synced on two laptops. In the sidebar menu, when I look at tabs, I see tabs from the other device, but when I look at bookmarks, I only see bookmarks from the device I'm on. Neither can I see synced bookmarks in Manage Bookmarks. In the Settings, in "Manage what syncs on all your connected devices", I have Bookmarks checked. How do I see my synced bookmarks?

I can't sync my history and bookmarks. As for my bookmarks, backups have stopped for about a month. I can't export them as html files either. As for my history, the file download history is no longer displayed at all. I've tried refreshing Firefox, but that didn't work. Is a reinstall the only solution?

When having restarted my computer and Firefox Nightly after a sudden power outage, all my tabs were gone. I need to restore them.

I went into the profile folder, but there was no session store file. Inside the backup sub folder i saw two large files, "previous.jsonlz4" and "restore.jsonlz4", and made a copy of both and placed them inside a new sub folder that I made, inside that profile folder.

An expert from the "Tech Support Guy" website ("Nader") told me, to open "about:support" and there to use the "Refresh" feature. I did this, but no tabs were restored. So I went into the profile folder again, just to see that it had disappeared and been replaced by a new profile folder! And therefore my two copies of the PREVIOS and RESTORE json files were gone, too, as they were inside a sub folder within that disappeared profile folder!

Now I need to know, URGENTLY, how to restore that folder and the files and sub folders within that profile folder. Thanks!

As I follow the instructions and get to the scan my PC bar code on the PC screen with my cell phone it causes the computer to respond which is only to give me an error that the PC is not paring or just sits on the same screen with nothing basically on it.

I am not familiar with how Mozilla Firefox

Two days ago, I had Microsoft Window 11 screen flickering issues. Searching the web for possible solutions, many recommended to uninstall any recently updated apps prior to when the screen flicker issue started. Since Mozilla Firefox was one of the recently updated apps, I uninstalled it but didn't know that I will lose all of the bookmarks I put under browser the bookmark ribbon.

I never saved or exported my Firefox bookmarks before since I thought it will be saved automatically. However, after I reinstall the Firefox app, my bookmarks are gone.

How can I get my Firefox bookmarks back if I never manually saved or exported the Firefox bookmarks before? I really would like to have them back. Desperately need help.

When trying to pair my phone with firefox already signed in to my macbook, I get this error:

"General application error

Something went wrong. Please try again later."

I tried refreshing firefox and trying to pair on a private tab, and none worked. Any potential fixes would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When I booted up Firefox today, I noticed a good chunk of my tabs were gone. They were nowhere in 'closed tabs' in History, nor in recently closed windows. In trying to restore them, I've now lost ALL of my open tabs with no clear way of getting them back. I have no idea what to do. 'Restore previous session' is not an option available to me.

A few months ago I made an account on Firefox, synced all my data(passwords), then when I lost my PC I tried to login but couldn't find the recovery key. Now I found it, is there a way to use that recovery key to get back my saved passwords?

In order for me to sync my Android bookmarks to my Win10, I have to do a manual sync while going the other way is automatic. It also seems to take a few minutes to go from Android to Windows; are both of these situations normal?

Backed up Thunderbird, with no issues, to external hard drive. Attempted same with Firefox but copy did not take place. Upon next boot for Firefox the system flagged "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible" I have appended OLD to the original profile and created a new folder. Firefox now loads and operates. Could you please advise the best way to retrieve my OLD profile.

I've been experiencing an issue with my bookmarks lately. Although my bookmarks are still visible in the Bookmarks Manager, when I open a bookmarked page, the star icon in the upper right corner does not appear filled (indicating it's not saved).

This makes it difficult for me to know whether I've saved a page before or not. I haven't made any recent changes to my settings or browser version, so I'm not sure why this is happening.

Has anyone else encountered this issue, and is there a way to fix it?

So I had to reset my pc, and i didnt think to export my password and bookmarks since I'm logged in and sync is on. Now its only syncing to what I had 5 years ago rather than just earlier today. Can't seem to figure out how to fix it.

Hello I need to solve the following problem: My daughter can no longer access her Windows 11 PC -> profile issue. Can I save C:\...\profiles for her Firefox bookmarks, reset Windows, install FF, and copy back the profiles folder. Or import the bookmarks from profiles into the new FF?

Hello. I have used Firefox for a while, and i recently made a mistake and added a whole load of bookmarks. I have removed these bookmarks, and while on the page I'm able to re-bookmark it, and remove it once more. However, they still show up as "suggestions" in the url-bar while typing something close to the websites name. I've cleared my whole search history as well. These do not show up while logged out of my firefox account. They also show up on several different(logged in) devices. What can i do?

I have searched these forums for a solution, but to no avail, so I am now asking for help.

I do not know what upgrade it was for Firefox, but it was the very first one that switched Bookmarks to this new system on the Sidebar access panel system. Can someone tell me or help me with what number that was, and when that disaster happened to me? I lost a lot of critical bookmarks and have been trying since then myself to restore what was lost. I know I should have backed up, but who knew this was going to happen? Almost none of my bookmarks migrated over. I know it's been a while, but if anyone can help, please drop me a line.

I have most passwords stored in Firefox, and sync them between computers and my phone, and it works great. Recently I decided to move a certain few passwords elsewhere, and deleted them from Firefox on one computer. Days later, they still appear on most if not all of my other devices, even though sync doesn't report any errors. This is a bigger problem than it might appear at first glance: since I might have updated a password on another computer I can't choose just one that has the correct data and reinitialize syncing there.
