I guess it's just too simple for my needs. Without a field where I'm able to assign a recognizable name to an entry I'm in the position of having to memorize url's, instead of passwords. No gain. Frustrating!!!

A new Mac App I bought called "CleanMyMac" deleted all my Firefox passwords on my Mac, which was not my intention. (And shame on CleanMyMac for not putting up a warning message.) I didn't want that accidental deletion to be spread to my various iOS devices (causing me to lose passwords there too) so I have turned off Sync for now. I have since recreated my passwords on my Mac (and exported them to a file for backup) and want to resume Syncing. What can I do to ensure that when I turn Sync back on the newly created Password data on my Mac gets priority over the older (now obsolete) password data on my iOS devices?

In other words, I want the passwords on my Mac to replace (via Sync) the obsolete passwords on my iOS devices.

Is there are way to tell Firefox which version should have priority? It was a huge amount of work to recreate all my passwords and logins.

Hi, w11p latest d/l, FF dev 142.0b3 64b (no stable here). I tried to use this FF to log onto bleeping computer to post a question. Their "verification process" never completed. I went to troubleshoot mode to bypass extensions. Didn't work. So what will work here w/FF dev? I ended up using chrome which I keep wide open security wise, & of course is a PIA otherwise, but there you go. Advice? Thank you.

YouTube pages are not displaying completely. I can only see the selected channel. The right-side selection list does not display. YoutTube controls are greyed out or don't display at all.

Firefox loads in some images very distorted where they are pixelated and in negative color. It's not all images, it's also not on specific websites, it's just in general. Some websites don't have any problems and others are practically unusable. The icons in my tabs are often desaturated from their normal color as well, see the youtube icon for example the color is very muted versus the actual color of the logo.

Hello, Reinstalled Windows 10 and Outlook 2010 as the default email program. Firefox does not recognize Outlook to send links, and Outlook does not show up as a choice for sending links. Suggestions? Thank you.

When I try to run firefox 141.0 (Linux x64) I get:

libxul.so: undefined symbol: gdk_wayland_device_get_wl_seat Couldn't load XPCOM.

Is there a way to fix this?

I'm using Slackware 14.2.

I'm trying to make some changes to the Firefox homepage through userChrome.css, but no changes are being applied.

I have set `toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets` to true and my `chrome` folder is saved in the correct filepath: `AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\94fnqz8w.default-release\chrome`, so I'm not sure what could be causing the issue.

I've changed the code to just include one big change to see if it's working, though nothing seems to have changed:

I accidentally uninstalled firefox on my phone. it was the only login i had for my account/profile and unfortunately could not find my recovery key or old password. I reset it (same device, with 2fa) however it said that it could not recover my data. no passwords, no bookmarks.

Is there any possible way to recover my password through mozilla I also have an ssd from a laptop with a login and iirc passwords. Could I use that? thank you.

I want to prevent a specific website from coming up as an autofill/suggestion in the search/address bar in Firefox. I keep looking all over the internet for help with this, but everything keeps saying that I need to click the three-dot menu on the suggestion when it comes up, and there is no such three-dot menu at all for me.

I do not want to completely clear all of the autofill/suggestions in the search/address bar, I specifically transferred all of that stuff over from Chrome because it makes things a lot easier. I just want to block this one specific website from coming up in this way.

Before anyone asks, no, I do not have this website (or any page from it) bookmarked. I have gone into the 'manage history' menu and selected "forget about this site" for it, and this has not removed it from the autofill/suggest.

It seems that scrolling periodically stops working, whenever I encounter nested scrolling on a page, eg. gemini.google.com with enabled canvas.

I scroll through the file, and then can't scroll through the conversation (However I can keep scrolling inside the file window). It usually starts working again in a few minutes.

It seems only whne playing a game at the moment but when you click the louse, it locks on and drags items everywhere and i have to click it several times to release, i know it must be firefox because i did try it on opera and don't get the same issue but i loathe that browser like the plague so would prefer to use this, would anyone have any idea please?

Hello, I have used Mozilla FireFox for some time now and thought restoring it to a new device using my account after a catastrophic laptop failure on July 12 would be the easiest of the recovery tasks I was going to have to pursue but apparently not. For a start, not all my passwords are available to me and then the look and feel of the browser is different. Where I had grouped tabs of bookmarked URLs the Bookmark bar has reverted to an older version with some bookmarks I had deleted and some newer ones missing. I'm not even able to reconstruct what I had working before and it's become very frustrating. Is there an older history/moment in time I can revert to? I've already been told that the VPN I have been subscribed to is not compatible with my new ARM-based device so my loyalty to Mozilla is being tested at this time. I have a problem that I cannot resolve for months. I'm always listening to YouTube I'm listening music while I'm working or I'm doing task on Firefox I used to have no problem I just Open YouTube and let it play on auto play and it goes no matter what. About 6 months ago I started to experiment some problems the video stop all the time even if I have a playlist going on like 50 song one after another it will stop once in a while for no reason. It pissed me off so much that I have to change my browser by default and I don't like other browser I use always Firefox with DuckDuckGo so when I'm trap to use other browser I get mad the only one that functions very good it's on edge Microsoft and seriously I cannot stand this… I'm forced to use YouTube only on edge it's the only place that it works no matter what it never stop. It used to be a little arrow in the bottom of the screen, a button that you can click on and off to Auto play or not, this button disappear it's not even there no more. This button Auto Play it's not there in Edge or Google Chrome but YouTube works for them not for Firefox so what is the problem it's not the setting is it YouTube that's got problem with Firefox? I don't know, it must be a way, a back door because I need to go back with Firefox I need to go back with DuckDuckGo. I'm pissed because I have to leave just because of that and that it's no compromise for me my music will pass before everything else. I don't feel like asking question to the community because it takes months before they answer you if they do. It's no customer service for Firefox or Mozilla whatsoever they don't answer you they don't talk to you they don't fucking care and this is another thing that pisses me off because they have a good thing going on but they don't care about the people. Graphics Drivers I ensure that my graphics drivers are up to date. They are Testing Other Browsers I already mentioned that Edge works well Google Chrome also. I'm experiencing an issue when trying to open a specific page on my website in Firefox. The page URL is: 👉 https://ihop-menus.com/ihop-secret-menu/

It either loads very slowly or sometimes gets stuck on a blank screen. I’ve tested the same page on Chrome and Edge, and it loads normally there, so the issue seems to be specific to Firefox.

Could this be related to JavaScript rendering, caching, or some browser-specific incompatibility? I’ve cleared the cache, tried private mode, and disabled add-ons, but the issue persists.

Firefox quite often will remove, replace, add, or layer text as I use it. It has been doing this since I first downloaded it, and I haven't had it for long. (I will say that it isn't the first program I've seen do this. the only other program I've seen do this is Zotero and Tor) I'm only asking here, because those other programs are less used. I'm not doing anything weird with it, it just happens as I use it. Some of the screenshots I've submitted are of what I'm literally typing right now.

I've tried using troubleshoot mode, but it works just fine when I'm using troubleshoot mode, so I can't appropriately use that mode.
