I haven't used firefox for 2 years and I uninstalled it. Now I want it but installation box says I have to close to uninstall previous version. After PC reopens nothing else occurs

I have been in to Control Panel/Add and Remove installations to search Mozilla firefox and there is nothing showing. I have tried removing all firefox entries with the regedit but some of these items will not remove. I suggest a professional form of uninstaller to get all these items off regedit that can clean it up. Then I might be able to install without a hitch.
