Outbound email not actually sent

more options

I have 4 email accounts in Thunderbird email. Receive works for all of them, Outbound works for 3 accounts.

One account when sending a message it has no error and says it has been sent. It hasn't been sent.

Changed the outgoing server to the same as one that works on another account. Still nothing is being sent and no error.

Renamed the account, created a new account. Same thing.

The only thing that works is when you reply/write a new message, if you change the "from" to another account. Then it actually sends the message.

Is there an .ini or registry area I should be looking at - simple comparison ? Any suggestions?

Fixed: Changed my outgoing server "smtp.comcast.net" from SSL/TLS to STARTTLS, doing this changed my port to 587. I can now send from Thunderbird.
