Firefox voor Android-gemeenschapsforum

Ik wil 1 kant op synchroniseren. Op mijn hoofdcomputer komt er telkens wat bij (bookmarks bijv.) en verwijder ik ook weer wat dingen, in de loop der tijd. Die 'schone' of aangepaste FF wil ik vervolgens syncen met mijn laptop en eventueel mijn foon.

Als ik nu syncen aanzet, dan krijg ik de hele zooi, die ik in het verleden heb 'gesyncked' weer terug op mijn hoofdcomputer en dat is niet de bedoeling.

Ook als ik op m'n laptop sync, dan wordt een en ander, bijvoorbeeld wat ik gesurfd heb op vakantie in Timboektoe (is verweggistan volgens de oude Donald Duck) ook weer gesyncked. Dat schiet dus niet op.

Hoe kan ik ervoor zorgen dat alles wordt gesyncked van alleen de hoofdcomputer en ik die sync weer binnenhaal op m'n laptop/foon, zonder alles van die laptop ook weer in de sync"directory" (of hoe dat dan ook heet) te krijgen???

Ook wordt FF regelmatig traag, wat ik wil oplossen door opfrissen of opnieuw te installeren, maar doe ik nu niet, want dan krijg ik de "synctroep" weer terug op m'n hoofdcomputer. Gaarne help?

Als je zoekt in het bladwijzermenu en vervolgens een bladwijzer opent en daarna een andere bladwijzer wilt openen ga je weer helemaal terug naar het begin ipv blijven in laatstgekozen map. Dat is niet zo in bijv. browser Brave voor Android.

Is het mogelijk dit ook voor Firefox bookmarks te regelen?

Sinds kort is de sortering van de bladwijzers omgedraaid (dus de laatst toegevoegde staat bovenaan) en ik kan niet vinden hoe ik dat kan wijzigen. Kunnen jullie me helpen?

Goedendag, hoe kan ik bladwijzers en/of collecties sorteren ? Ik zou ze graag in een eigen volgorde kunnen plaatsen of anders op alfabet sorteren. Dit is in Firefox voor desktop wel mogelijk, maar ik kan het in de Firefox App voor Android niet vinden

Net zo min trouwens als het tegelijk verplaatsen van meerdere tabbladen naar een bepaalde collectie of bladwijzermap

Na een jaar gebruik van de App op mijn Android telefoon is het zo een onoverzichtelijke chaos aan het worden

Ik begrijp dat de persoonlijke gegevens van Thunderbird in een aparte map staan op mijn pc. Nu wil ik de Engelse versie vervangen door de Nederlandse. Kan ik zonder problemen de Nederlandse versie installeren zonder verlies van persoonlijke gegevens? De Engelse versie dus eerst helemaal verwijderen cq dé-installeren?

So a couple of years back you redesigned Firefox for Android and came out with a completely new version. This version for some reason opens every new site in a new tab as opposed to having the option to open a new site in the current, already open tab. I use my browser intensively, browsing news sites and forums and because of this tab behavior, at the end of the week I have accumulated around 60(!) tabs.

There is a setting that auto closes inactive tabs but I'd like to have control over my tabs and sometimes even keep a specific tab (not all tabs) with a specific site so that I can read it (way) later. This means this option is not usable for me. Also, when you visit a pinned site that's already open, it opens that specific, already opened tab which is nice but that also doesn't work very well for 2 reasons: 1> it just opens a cached tab which means that you have to refresh the tab anyway to get latest content and 2> like mentioned I browse a lot of news sites and forums and whilst those have the same main domain, the individual articles and threads I visit means that most of the times I get a new tab anyway.

Firefox is my favorite browser on my PC for like 15 years now and it used to be also my favorite browser on my phone but I'm just gonna delete it from my phone again. I just don't want a million tabs open! Every once in a while I check if Mozilla might have implemented more control over the tabs but unfortunately they don't. I honestly would like to know from the developers what the thought process about this annoying tab behavior is. This is the only browser I know that has this weird tab behavior.

Please consider implementing more control over the tabs and let me use the current tab when I browse to a pinned site or other site instead of spawning a new one everytime.

Graag hulp bij volgende probleem:

Recent moet ik vaak mij PC (android) opnieuw opstarten om nieuwe e-mail in Thunderbird te kunnen ontvangen. Dit probleem is ontstaan 1 of 2 maanden geleden toen ik mijn internetabonnement (Ziggo) heb verlaagd naar een voordeliger tarief, met "400 Mb". Mogelijk is hiertussen geen verband, maar dit is de enige factor die is veranderd. Een programma om fouten op te sporen heeft geen oplossing geboden.

As a teacher I often embed YouTube videos in my online lessons. Sometimes FireFox does not allow to play them.

Is there a way to allow?
