After latest update 14.0.1 firefox has crashed 3 times in the last 30 minutes.

I recently updated to the latest version of FF and now it will just crash without warning. for example, I was trying to watch stuff on youtube and it crash.

It looks like the problem is with BitDefender 2013 which may be incompatible with your installation of Firefox 14.0.1 and/or your installed extensions.

Try this first: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems .... and it that doesn't help, see if temporarily disabling or uninstalling BitDefender resolves the crashes. If it does then contact BitDefender support. Related BitDefender forum thread:

Installing Firefox 15 Beta was reported as the solution for Firefox 14 crashes with BitDefender, here:

I'll look into it. for right now I've started to use pale moon. But i'll look into firefox 15.

After having the same kind of problem on firefox 13 I decided to use chrome instead... bad idea :P now I'm back and still getting the same crashes, usually when I multitask, watch youtube or something similar.
