I don't know how to get started using Firefox. I downloaded the new version but don't know how to get to the page where the Firefox program begins.

Installing Firefox(after you've downloaded it) should leave a Firefox desktop icon which you double click to open the browser.

This is a good place to start -

As you get going, try left and right clicking everything in sight just to learn what's there.

And spend a bit of time on this page -

The mechanics and techniques are not so very different to Internet Explorer. Customization is a strength of Firefox.
