After Thunderbird upgraded to 102.2.0 , in my main email account, the inbox shows no messages, and the word "inbox" is gray and italic (instead of black and straight). The inboxes for my other accounts work fine.

See image.

What gives?

I restarted Thunderbird. Now that account lost the "Sent, Junk, Drafts, and Trash" folders. The inbox is still empty.

I restarted the computer. Now everything works.

It does appear that it was a glitch. Thank you for your help.

Generally that would indicate the IMAP server has reported the folder can not contain mail.

If you have a gmail account you will see a similar thing with a [gmail] folder.

Does a system restart clear anything? just on the off chance is is some sort of one off glitch.

Thank you for your fast reply.

The server did not change. Only the Thunderbird version changed. The server inbox _does_ contain mail: I can go to it through webmail access. I's consider that Thunderbird thinks (incorrectly) that the IMAP server has reported the folder can not contain mail.

> If you have a gmail account

I don't. All of the accounts are on the same sever (elithion.com). Only this account displays the problem.

Restart of which system? The server? Thunderbird? My computer?
