Help...PLEASE?? My pinned sites are all gone but by entire library of bookmarks was loading..
I'm in tears here....I am NOT a "techie" and have been using Firefox for years. Recently, Every. Single. One. (102) of my bookmarks started loading when Foxfire opened....and I could not get to my pinned tabs (my JOB) until I shut them down. So, I went in a did a "do-over" (reset Firefox back to defaults)...but now all of my pinned tabs are gone and the bookmarks are still showing up on the start screen...although not loading. I've got so much work to do and I'm totally stuck here. Is there ANYTHING that can be done? Thank you in advance.

You can check that those pages aren't set as multiple homepages.
You can check the homepage setting.

Firefox supports multiple homepages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.
Pinned tabs are stored in sessionstore.jsonlz4 in the profile folder as part of session data. If they weren't recovered when you refreshed Firefox then you can check the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop to see if you can find sessionstore.jsonlz4.
You can look at this tool to inspect a compressed sessionstore file.
You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

Thank you soooo much!! I'm all set now and everything is working properly. I do have one very small ongoing problem and that is my signature on my Yahoo account (that includes my Logo) will only work on ONE computer. When I switch to my tablet or laptop, it's using the old one. I know that's not your problem....and I thank you again for getting me up and running.

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear
If you still have problems:
You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
