Dear Friends,.

for a long time I have trusted and used Firefox bit this most recent problem is proving very hard to fix.

Browsing internet: Image I wish to save. Long press on image > 'save image' > download completed popup > image is openable.

Despite this, the image is nowhere to be found in the downloads file. Other browsers populate the downloads file and also allow you to choose the destination for downloads.

FF doesn't populate the downloads folder and doesn't allow me to choose the destination for downloads. There is also no downloads folder/native in the browser that I can see. The images appear after clearing the cache and restarting the phone...sometimes.

I added information on this to a 'solved' thread yesterday and even PM'd a moderator. This morning, no thread to be found and no reply from moderator.

Can we try to sort this please?

Cheers

Fred Hope
