hi :) as i type any website name, that appears in the drop down list . i do not want that to happen. how can i avoid any search engine from memorising websites i visit?

It isn't a search engine, it is firefox.
As for avoiding search engines tracking your search requests, either do not sign in, or ask them not to track, or use a search engine that respects privacy.
As for not seeing history suggestions in the search suggestions: ☰Menu → Options → Search → scroll down to Search Suggestions section and select or deselect the options you wish.
