Obviously Mozilla/Firefox people do not want to deal direct with their customers and thus have become to big for their britches and don't find direct contact necessary anymore. I want to know how to get rid of that stupid Firefox Monitor program and there is no options mentioned anywhere I have looked.

Can you please elaborate what the problem with Monitor is? Monitor is a service that detects if a website that was storing your e-mail or other information was hacked, and then notifies you. This then enables you to take actions to protect your data.

For instance, let's say you had an account on MyFitnessPal (https://monitor.firefox.com/breach-details/MyFitnessPal). That website was breached in 2018, which means someone has access to your password. Monitor would send you a notice that your e-mail was in that breach, and then you could go to MyFitnessPal and either close your account if it was no longer needed, or change your password.

If you have more questions, Mozilla Monitor - Frequently asked questions might help.

You got to be kidding! That is like no answer at all. If this is an answer by a fu..ing robot then stick it where the sun don't shine. I am sick and tired of dealing with AI and demand to get to talk/write with a person. We (us people) are wasting more time on line then doing anything useful because of a certain faction of humanity who thinks that they are better then us! Well, think again! I'll defeat you bastards.

I am a person, so, unsure why you think otherwise.

If you wanted to explain what problems you have with monitor specifically I can help, but you haven't been very clear.

Are you talking about the items you see listed in the Firefox Account button drop-down list?

You can remove this icon from the Navigation Toolbar like you can do with other toolbar buttons via the right-click context menu or use customize mode.

You can close the Tab where features like Sync and Firefox Monitor are shown if you aren't interested.

O.k. Person/robot! I am somewhat confused with what is what. One time it say Robot and then you answer as "Owner". I am visually impaired and not willing to dig through your jungle. You and the companies are muddying the issues just to confuse us as your customers and you have less work to do. I am sick and tired of being told what I have/can do and what not on this fricken internet and I am doing what I want from now on! I am spending quite a bit of money on the internet and if you think that this is not needed then tell me straight out and I shut the whole thing down! I don't need you but you need me (us). I found that this Firefox Monitor is using [Have I been Pwned] which is another company I have rejected a long time ago when I had a website. I do not wish to have anything to do with that company anymore and do not like to be pushed into it by you! Besides the results I get from this software are incorrect and blown out of proportion as I found out this morning. I am too old to waste my time with trivial things you are pushing on me like this and my memory is to holy to remember all that crap. If you want to get snotty, I'll just go somewhere else. My time is more important than Internet issues! I am sorry, I do not mean to belittle you personally but the whole of the Internet Industry and I believe that it is trying to enslave us and finally is showing it's ugly head!

I'm not sure what exactly you hope to get from this post. You haven't explained what problems you are having with Monitor, you haven't explained how we can help you, so if you would like help please give some specific questions or issues and we can answer. Monitor is not a tool that is meant to muddy the waters, it's meant to give you (and the millions of people who use it) a powerful tool to protect themselves on the internet.

You sure seem to be a dense millennial and cannot read! I have explained plentiful what my problem with that Monitor garbage is and I do not want it. There are no explanations on how to delete this software. It is a bunch of garbage (if you read my comment properly) since it make false reports. I found that out when I tried to use their software years ago and I cancelled them out. I DON;'T WANT THIS SOFTWARE NOR DO I NEED IT. I thought that Firefox was mor userfriendly than Googles software. Think again! The next time you answer my comments, read them first!

I am going to end this whole bunch of crap here! Every few minutes this shit software is asking for a "master password" and I get connected to a millennial who don't have a clue what life is all about and has no experience with what is happening today, wasting my time. There is more to life then electronics and internet. Today's society is totally screwed and going down the wrong fork of the road. I for one do not comply anymore, if you fu..ing like it or not.

Ah, here we go again! It is asking me for the "master password". F you! I also love the replies you give with "No-reply" senders. Are you chicken? Afraid to get bad answers? You and yours are a bunch of morons and not worth even to answer to.

So a master password has absolutely nothing to do with monitor. Perhaps your confused on what part of Firefox is acting up?

Use a Primary Password to protect stored logins and passwords

Tyler, you are a Master at being stupid and get out of my face. I am solving this (my) problem by myself!
