I am a long-time Firefox user who uses Intuit's Quickbooks Online. I have printed checks through Firefox for years. In the last three pay periods there are portions of the pay stub that are covered with "x's" and "y's" so tax categories, etc cannot be seen. If I switch to Safari, I don't get any of the bothersome characters, but my checks are not aligned to the printer as they were using Firefox. I hate having people tell me to switch to Safari or Chrome to get something done. I chose Firefox for a reason and it has worked up to now. Perhaps completely unrelated, why did the Firefox icons on my Mac(s) change from the cool orange and blue fox to a blank sheet with a pencil and ruler. Surely that wasn't on purpose. Thank you for the help.

Since this is Private information and no one else can access it find and diagnosis the issue will be next to impossible. You should check with Quickbook which Browser they recommend to use to access your files through them. Some sites are made to run with specific Browser and that isn't something firefox can fix. Also the site could've update to where they said if your not access the site through the Browser that has specific codes to match their security settings then any other browser will not function correctly when accessing the site.
