Since the latest Windows 10 update I can't load anything in the browser, the plug-in of my AntiVirus software (Kaspersky) no longer functions in Firefox, etc.

I can't even access the settings in the browser. There is no error message, nothing. It's just nothing happening. It's also not hanging, as it I can open and close the browser without any issues.

I fixed it using Windows compatibility troubleshooting. It then managed to get it to work using Windows 8 compatibility settings.

It is not a good idea to run Firefox in compatibility mode, because other software has a problem. You should take this up with Kaspersky since it is their responsibility to keep their software working with Firefox.

Hello wolf-hraban,

I would like to suggest to remove the Kaspersky software - you would be best off with just your system's built-in default security program, and maybe let malwarebytes run a scan once a month. (and save yourself some money as well)
