Every time I go to www.ydr.com or www.yorkdispatch.com within seconds I get a message "this tab has crashed", options to restore, etc. but it doesn't work

No problem with my side. Do you have other addon like adblocker or the likes installed.
No, nothing like that installed. Thanks anyway.
My guess is to uninstall firefox and deleting mozilla folder and then reinstall firefox again to see if the problem happens again. Also backup any bookmarks so you can import them back.
