firefox search within page doesnt work
Hi
I love firefox but I find the search within a page very unreliable.
I dont want to have to leave firefox but being able to do ctrl+f and find something on a page is quite important.
Please fix it!
Thanks.

Hi, you are running a Beta and anything can happen. Works fine in Regular release 61.0.1
Do a clean reinstall of your Beta and see if it works or use the above to return to Regular Release.
When running a Beta : If you have a bug, file a bug report. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ Bug Writing Guidelines : https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines

Thanks pkshadow - I must have installed firefox a long time ago as had forgotten I was using a beta - I have downgraded to 61.0.1 and it seems to be working again. Thanks
What exactly went wrong with the Find feature?
Note that it is possible that you accidentally enabled some special find features like whole word or case sensitive.
It just wouldnt find text on the page - sometimes it would but it would take a while to do so. Now I've gone back to the non-beta version the find works super fast. Yep maybe an add-on or something like that caused the issue.
Thanks. You didn't include troubleshooting information, so we couldn't see whether you have extensions that might be interfering.
Note that with developer builds like Beta it is possible to run into issues that might disappear with the next version (62.0b11 is current).
