Firefox keeps telling me to reconnect to sync!
I've even tried refreshing Firefox! This issue stays between Firefox updates, between upgrading from Windows 10 version 1703 to version 1709!

So have you reconnected to Sync ? What happens when you do ? Do you still get the error after logging out.
More Information Please
I have tried reconnecting to sync many times by signing in again and again. Almost every time I close Firefox, it requires me to reconnect to sync by signing in once again. And, it keeps offering me to save my username and password, which I always tell it to do. It doesn't look like Firefox is doing that!
Do you see the Firefox Sync account credentials stored in the Firefox Password Manager?
- chrome://FirefoxAccounts
When this entry is removed then you need to reenter the name and password for Sync every time you start Firefox.
If you use external cleanup software to remove personal data for Firefox then check the settings for the Firefox application.
That may have been why. I no longer use CCleaner for that reason among other reasons, but I still am told to reconnect to sync every now and then.
