NoScript addon - interferes all over the place.
This addon DOES block the new annoying ads on Drudge in the default configuration. BUT it disables JScript controls all over the place on sites where I want it to do NOTHING. Click the "Allow this site" and same result. It screws up mouseovers all over the freaking place and getting sucked into trying all the settings/options for a particular site is useless.
Then you can get sucked into trying all the options for a particular site and Round and Round we go.

Hi, if you are not interested in micro-managing dozens of server script permissions per day, including several waves of approvals on each complex site you visit, you should NOT use NoScript. It is for those of us who are very paranoid and require extreme control.
If you want to try an extension with an easier interface -- after the puzzling first 20 minutes -- you could look at uMatrix: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/umatrix/
Also, your Firefox identified itself to the forum as version 20. An update is available: this article describes how to get Firefox 54 using the "About Firefox" dialog on the help menu: Update Firefox to the latest release.
If something is holding you back from upgrading to Firefox 54, please let us know so we can suggest solutions or workarounds. Version 20 is not secure; Mozilla discloses security flaws after each new release.
Sometimes Firefox reports the wrong version because that information was saved in a preferences file. If the "About Firefox" dialog (see first article link) shows Firefox 54.0, you may need to clear out that incorrect information. See: How to reset the default user agent on Firefox.
