Kiddle add on has dissapeared
Recently I was adding and configuring user accounts in Windows 7 and found that an add on that I have installed for a previous user was not able to be found for the current user profile. The add on is a search add-on for http://www.kiddle.co After not being able to find this add-on through the Firefox add on manager, I tried to use Google to find it, and did. When I tried to open the link https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/kiddle/ I was greeted with an error message.
What I would like to know is if I can clone the add-on from the user that has it installed and working to the unconfigured user who cannot get this add on. Thank you for your time.

What did the add-on do, exactly?
If you want to add Kiddle as a search engine in Firefox, there is a quick new way. Open the main page here:
Then on Firefox's search bar, a green circle with a white + should appear on the magnifying glass icon. Click that icon, and look toward the bottom of the drop-down for a gray bar which says "Add Kiddle" and click that.
You now should be able to make Kiddle your default search engine either using right-click > Set as Default Search Engine on the search bar drop-down, or using the search settings page. If you don't want it to be your default but you want to change the sequence of icons for easier access, you can do that on the search settings page, too.

Does that give you the functionality that the add-on used to provide?

That is what the add on does - allows Kiddle to be placed as the default search engine. I was just worried that I could no longer find it. As I said I do have it installed for a different user, so could not figure out why it wouldnt exist later on. They devs must have pulled it or something.... but thanks you for the help. Problem solved :)
