since new update yesterday the underscore key does not work it works in Internet Explorer

Using windows 7 , I tried this key in Internet Explorer and it worked so I donot think it is my keyboard.

Do all the other keys work properly?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
