Offerswizard - How can I get rid?

So, I was on my computer this evening, and all of a sudden random adverts for Offerswizard and numerous other pop-ups kept popping up, as well as a Bing search bar. How can I remove this? I've tried literally everything - I've reset Firefox, gone through all my addons and tried to uninstall programs on Control Panel, but the only one that was 'installed' today is the 'Network System Driver'. I've also apparently got programs still installed from 'Rich Media View', 'Media View' etc from all the way back in March, but don't have any addons of this type installed. I recall the last time I had trouble with 'Media View', I had addons creep their way in to my computer, too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

UPDATE 3

Just so everyone knows, I've been browsing about in Firefox without any issues for a few hours now, so I recommend you follow the advice in 'UPDATE 2', below.

That said, this is clearly a serious issue, and Mozilla Support should get someone who knows what they're doing (i.e. not me) to look at this piece of adware. I know it may not be Mozilla's problem, but this has a lot more votes than most issues on this forum. Besides, if it installed itself once, it's probably going to install itself again eventually.

UPDATE 2

OK, I think that's done it. Go to Add/Uninstall programs, and uninstall 'Network System Driver'. Ignore the scary pop-up, it's all guff. Then, go to C:\ (or wherever your system drive is), Program Files (x86 if you're on 64-bit Windows like me), Common Files, Config, and you'll see a few (three, from memory?) files in there. Run the uninstaller in that folder, then, delete the 'Config' folder. Yes, really.

After that, I ran the Security Essentials for a quick scan, then CCleaner, then AdwRemover again, which meant another restart of Windows. I think this paragraph's actions were unneeded - I just wanted to be extra careful.

Now, everything seems fine. The same websites that showed the Bing bar and OffersWizard, aren't showing any adware at all now. I can't get that evil stuff to make an appearance. It appears to be gone.

--- Old stuff below ---

UPDATE - Nope, nope, I was wrong. It's back. Anyone got any ideas?

There's a thing called 'Network System Driver' installed on my machine too. It shouldn't be there. It's new. The uninstaller is trying to scare me off. I'm going to proceed with the uninstallation. If it works, I'll return and post an update. If it doesn't and bombs my Windows install, well, I won't. Remember me for the brave and stupid gamble I'm about to make...

--- Old stuff below ---

I've just had the same problem. I've also had MediaView installing itself too. Firefox suddenly spazzed out, and I've got the Bing bar up top, and OffersWizard ads all over the show, some of them popping up and playing back video with sound. Annoying as hell.

Scrambled around for a while trying things that didn't work, until...

Someone on Google had the same problem, and said to use AdwCleaner - grab it from CNET here: http://download.cnet.com/AdwCleaner/3000-7786_4-75851221.html, or Google it yourself if you prefer.

It has removed the crap. AdwCleaner is a bit heavy duty (it closes all programs and restarts your system), but it seems to clean everything up properly.

Before this, I tried the Microsoft Security Essentials scanner, CCleaner, and the Firefox reset option. None of them worked.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
