Can you give me your crash reports?

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and paste them into your response here.

These are just the "crashes" not the freezes I get 4-5 times a day.

This is not a reset problem. This is on all 3 of my computers.

Crash., restore, browse, crash repeat.

Looks like the crashes are related to graphics.

Firefox has hardware acceleration set to "on" by default, but it's still young, which means some video cards or drivers might have problems with it. You can try to disable hardware acceleration to see if that alleviates your problems.

You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Then perform these steps for Firefox version 29.0 and above:

  • Click the menu button New Fx Menu and select Options for Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux. For Firefox 28.0 and previous versions, click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
  • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, then select "General".
  • In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
  • Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

I had the same problem.

Disabling add-ons was my first idea -- no difference.

I tried some other stuff and eventually uninstalled FF completely including any Mozilla folders that were hanging around after the uninstall. Result -- problem fixed.

I don't understand why that worked, then I found this article today...

As part of my uninstall, I also cleared out all the blocked stuff in AdBlock. I wonder if that did something good??
