I got a notification from Firefox to update the browser. Which is fine. But, when I tried to go to History to delete the downloads and previous months history. It will not allow me to delete the months history. It does nothing.
I hope you have a resolution for this issue. Thanks.

Jakiś czas temu zauważyłem, że z Historii Ostatnio zamkniętych Kart znikają oglądane strony. Jestem już oburzony na to. Próbowałem wrócić do jakiś kart i nie było ich w historii. Funkcja ma być wycofana. Natychmiast. Jeśli będę chciał pozbyć się jakiejś strony to chcę sam to zrobić. Nie wy będziecie o tym decydować, ale użytkownik. Funkcja ma być wycofana. Natychmiast. Nie mam zamiaru z nikim o tym dyskutować, a tym bardziej z Sztucznym Idiotą.
My browsing data is being deleted and I don't want that. How do I set it to remember all my browsing history?
Why does my browsing history only go back one day? Cannot find a Firefox setting to change this. Thank you.
Does Firefox offer a way to save things like what websites i go on, who sends me emails and who i send emails to even thou i delete my history?

Even though my settings in Firefox are set to restore open tabs when restarting, and Firefox is my default browser, I was unable to restore my open tabs when my Firefox browser just closed on me. I went up to the menu > History > Recently closed tabs > Reopen all tabs and nothing happened. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks for your help!
I use the Menu Bar and discovered that when I select History and then right click one of the entries it no longer shows the small window which allows you to Open in a New… (read more)
I use the Menu Bar and discovered that when I select History and then right click one of the entries it no longer shows the small window which allows you to Open in a New Tab etc.
If I use the 3 bar option on the right hand side to Open application menu, then select History, then right click an entry, the small window I mentioned above opens as it used to when using the Menu Bar.
I have attached screenshots showing the issue when using the Menu Bar and also when I use the application menu on the right.
I have been using the Menu Bar option for years now so I can only assume that this issue has arisen after a previous update.
I am currently running Firefox 140.0.4 and this issue is there even when I disabled all themes & extensions and when I ran Troubleshoot Mode!
Hopefully a simple fix will resolve this.

firefox used to have good history now it's only 7 days? i need to see more than 7 days, all of it being available is ideal. what prompted this - although i've been irked by it before - is needing to know how i got to a website, what was the search and/or tab spelunking that got me there? it's really important to know this. relying solely on google search (if that'll yield part of the trail) seems contrary to firefox ethos.

I have the "Open previous windows and tabs" checked in the General settings....and it doesn't work! How is that? Any special thing I need to do to get it to work?

Is Firefox not growing or everything needs to be highlighted? I have never highlighted anything to chrome yet it has done things that are worth it.
