On some forums - not this one - I am unable to complete the relevant text box to compose a reply. EG the Devon forum: https://discourse.devontechnologies.com/t/sync-between-mac-and-ipad-works-and-iphone-not-working/87390/7 No text appears and the text box is completely inoperative. The problem is not confined to that site, but I have experienced similar on other Forums.

I use Ublock Origin which I thought might be causing a problem but disabling it has no effect, neither does disabling Little Snitch. As a result I've concluded this is probably caused by something in my settings but I don't know which or where to look.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Mac Mini M2 Pro; MacOS 15.7.8. Firefox 153.0.1 (British English)

now using 153.0.1 from old 140.13.0 but i do not see a home page icon so i can go back to the home page after visiting a web site such as facebook, etc. in settings i have Firefox set as default, but still do not see the little house icon for going to home page. How do I get the home page icon to appear somewhere with 153.0.1

EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to access the 1Password extension it requires me to enter the Master Password for my 1Password extension. It never did before, if I entered it once I could use finger print access for a few day before it asks for my Master Password again. Do I have to remove the extension?

Hi, Apologies I've failed to find a more apt site to post this. The add-on/extension 'Remove Anything' was really useful. I have now discovered profiles and setting some up (they seem great), that and becoming a windows 11 user has caused me to have a hard look at the ones I installed. 1. 'Remove anything' has been great and I've been using it since late 2017 IIRC 2. The author ended support updates in June 2026 and updated the add-on page accordingly and pointed users to an alternative. I have to think this is best practice. We don't need many add-ons that do the same thing but kindly pointing users to a suitable alternative the author wasn't connected to was a helpful move. 3. I couldn't find a place channel to thank the author for their work but certainly appreciate it. 4. if anyone closing or casually reading sees this and could please pass on thanks from a typical domestic user to RoadrunnerWMC PLEASE Do. I greatly appreciate the volunteer efforts that created and run firefox and the big umbrella of related software, ever since the old Netscape days. That includes whoever is dealing this question. I do not want Firefox to be my default browser, nor to I want it to start when the computer is started. I DO want it to use the same tabs & windows as the previous time I closed it.

But every time Firefox updates automatically, it resets those setting back to te default. How can I get it to keep those setting?

I keep having trouble with Facebook. The site keeps reacting too slowly, and just hangs up. I have to wait too long for the the content to fully load. I tried clearing my cache as suggested and that didn't help any. What can I now do to solve this problem. The Facebook problem is NOT present when I use another browser, like Chrome or Safari, only Firefox so the problem is Firefox related. Can someone please help. Thank you.

currently running 153.0.1, in Windows 10 I started having trouble with web pages not working (I have auto-tab discard, so after a while the pages go dormant and when I go pack in they have to refresh) only they wouldn't refresh

I'd hit refresh and it would stay blank but if I opened it in a new tab it opened fine (noted this first in tumblr and youtube - probably since previous to last update) also opening links from an 'affected' (youtube video page that stops working) will also have those new tabs blank and eternally trying to load

then yesterday the problems ramped up; other pages start not working, not when I refresh, not when I open a new page. youtube videos will just stop loading, yahoo's inbox displays "no internet connection" warning (even when I can scroll tumblr, but the links still break) I can access those same pages and others normally in other browsers

also if I just keep working in the still half broken pages it gets to a point firefox simply stops allowing me to do anything on new tabs, it gets slower and slower, taking up to a minute to open one page (internet fine in other browsers). eternally frozen in loading pages do not allow me to access settings or react to pressing Alt, or pressing "stop loading"

I tried deactivating all extensions, I tried (and am currently writing this in troubleshoot mode) it still happens

if I restart firefox it works for a bit, and then starts breaking, timing seems rather random, (once it happened with one youtube video and one mail tab open, other time's i've opened several youtube videos a couple tumblr pages and one mail tabs (easiest to notice the "no internet connection in the mail tab)

I wanted to put firefox on my phone to connect with my Mac Mini. I did download it but cannot find it .I searched on my phone and Firefox not recognized . I wanted and was prompted to download firefox to connect my Iphone with my Mac Mini. I don't have a lot of time to deal with this

Running on Windows 11. There are many supposed "solutions" on the Web, but none of them work. I have tried with: about:config, css files, etc. None of them work.

I like Firefox greatly, but this is so frustrating.

The developers have created a solution to a problem that didn't exist. The result is to make Firefox user clumsy.

It would have been nice if they - at the very least - had provided a way to change the 'Profiles' icon position on the menu.

Again, Firefox 153.0.1 (64-bit) on up-to-date Windows 11. Amd Ryzen 5, 6 core processor, 32 GB Ram, 500 GB SSD C drive = 197 GB free.

Toolbar disappears while choice is playing. Bounces in and out of visual without staying locked on and visible. I won't want the tool bars to EVER disappear from screen when Firefox is playing, except for home page.

I was getting a frame displaying that embedded content was blocked from x, instagram, and others. I clicked the allow routine and got the embed. Now it's all over the place, scroll, scroll, scroll, blah, blah. How do I reenable the blocking?

During the last 2 weeks, I have been unable to view and use my AOL emails, for the login page demands that I enter my mozilla primary password--the existence of which was unknown to me and thus, I never knew what it was and never had to use it in any way. I assume one was set when I began tom use firefox probably back in 2016. My big problem is that I must be able to use my AOL email system to complete various essential needs, How can I fix this idiocy that apparently places some kind of security above sane simplicity and ease of use for normal people who are not computer or Internet experts?

www.blu-ray.com not opening. i tried all ways like uninstall, re-install but still it's not opening. but in chrome and ms edge it's working properly. i tried troubleshoot mode, clear data but still it's not working. it's happening in these few days ago

Hello Mozilla Support, I am getting Error 526 when I try to open YouTube in Firefox. Other websites work normally, but YouTube does not open. I have already checked my internet connection and restarted Firefox, but the problem still exists. Please help me fix this issue.
