I have to reset Firefox/Mozilla as my default browser every time I leave the browser and return. Each time I set it as my default browser, but I have to do it again and again. This is a new occurrence, as I have never had to do this until the last few weeks.

I really need some quality advice and will sincerely appreciate it if someone can guide me, because my head is spinning.

When I start Firefox it automatically reopens all the tabs from my previous session. I would prefer it to start with a blank page or just my homepage. Which setting controls whether Firefox restores the previous session on startup? Using Firefox desktop. Thanks for any help.

Autoplay (of video SOUND) is always set to OFF except in a few cases where it is set to ALWAYS ASK FIRST. Facebook reels often ignore this setting. How can I stop it. The same phone setting on my Galaxy phone covers both AUDIO and INCOMING PHONE CALLS (ringing). If I mute my phone I cannot hear it ring. If I don't Facbook blasts the entire room ... when it was never supposed to to do via the settings.

I have a document that allows me to extend the page for supporting information. However when I move the up/down bar the original document moves but there is no way to move up/down the supporting page.

I have now been prompted 10 times today to make firefox by default browser - it has been my default browser for years. Each time I go to windows settings to check - it does not show me that firefox is the default. I select default for firefox but still is doesn't follow the command. I did manage to get it to accept the default command ONCE today but when I rebooted the laptop it went back to prompting me to make it the default all over again - must be 10 times now. This is infuriating. Could this issue be due to a VPN I have (NORD)? Having said that, I have tried 8 times to set the default while NOT connected to the VPN. What can I do?
