Firefox 153.0.1 (64-bit), Windows 11. Immediately after this update, Yahoo Mail began showing a persistent "No internet connection" banner over the search field. Mail loads and receives normally — new messages arrive in real time while the banner is displayed — so the connection is fine. The banner covers the search field, so I cannot search my mail.

Tried without success: cleared cookies and site data for yahoo.com; unregistered the mail.yahoo.com service worker via about:serviceworkers; toggled Enhanced Tracking Protection off and on for the site; removed all extensions; restarted Windows several times.

Yahoo Mail works correctly in Vivaldi on the same machine, same network, same account. It was not happening on the previous Firefox version and nothing else on the machine changed.

Has anyone else seen this since 153.0.1?

Ever since I updated to 153, the FedEx website goes unresponsive after it pulls up a tracking number: I have to force quit Firefox to get out of this problem. No other website that I use has this issue. Everything else works just fine. What could be the issue here?

Suddenly https://unifi.ui.com console doesn't work on Firefox anymore, but it does on other browser, it even works on mobile app.

It works on Chrome e.g.

We tried Firofox incognito/Private mode but same problem.

Suport from Unifi can't help they say it a Firefox problem.

I have problem with endless cptchas -mostly on Facebook and now it began on my banking page - it used to verify via my phone- now it is constant captchas. When I use another browser- I do not have this issue. It is so annoying I may stop using Firefox. I'd much rather have google puzzle. The "no captcha" extensions do not work! I really prefer Firefox, but you need to stop with the captchas and use google puzzle or some other verification method.

the bill pay feature has worked for years on firefox. when I asked merrill edge about the feature not working, they asked me to use another browser. So I used Chrome, and the bill pay feature works.

I have been using Firefox for a long time to access Aldi. Now it goes to the login page, but will not let me input my email or phone number. The word Aldi is in its place and will not let me input anything. I can't even get rid of the name Aldi from it. I can use Edge with no problem at all, but I don't use Edge. What could be my problem with FireFox? I've tried all the troubleshooting tricks I can find online, but nothing works. Aldi, which is tied with Instacart informed me that it was a problem with Firefox. The actual website for Aldi is listed below. Please advise.

Hi everyone! I have a couple issues that I'm encountering for an otherwise solid experience.

1. Scrolling with my touchpad or touchscreen on my laptop is choppy with Firefex while being smooth as butter using Edge and Chrome. It's on a specific website with a ton of pictures - Slickdeals.net. No problems with all other websites. The issue is w or w/o hardware acceleration.

2. I thought I found something great with Firefox's option to disregard a site's native font...so that my chosen option will override every site. Instead, it's showing up on only a handful of sites I use. More confounding is the fact that changing font size is not taking effect...when I choose 'reader view' those options work perfectly but going into the main settings just won't act accordingly. I'm also on the Microsoft forum talking about help with a virus but I'd like to know if anyone else is struggling with this...thanks!

When I login to Google, I'm usually asked to do more than 1 catcha. Sometimes, they continue until I can't do any more and use Google Chrome. I have poor eyesight, and this is getting very annoying.

Recently, suddenly, the audio files on my website no longer produce sound in Firefox browser. They work fine on other browsers and all phones I tested. Can that be fixed by Mozilla, or myself? Website is JesusChrist.com

I have a certain website that I can no longer sign into. I have always been able to sign in to it, but I can no longer. It loads, but won't allow me to input my login information anymore. I can use another browser and have no problem logging in.

After clearing my cache, I got logged out of all of my accounts, and I can no longer sign into Google. When I enter my username it gives me a message that says “Couldn’t sign you in: this browser may not be secure. Try using a different browser.” I was able to log in using Chrome so it’s definitely not a device issue. I already tried clearing my cookies and cache again, and disabling all of my browser extensions, but I’m still getting the same message. Any help is appreciated!

Please tell me why I cannot login to Yahoo.mail. My mail account is [redacted] @yahoo.com. I don't know why, but I did get a message to enter my password to Yahoo in Settings, but was unable to do so.

Using iMac with M3 chip. Latest system software: Version 26.5.2 (25F84). On latest Firefox update.

I am no longer able to log in to my bank using the Firefox browser, BUT am able to log in using the Apple environment...ie Safari, and iOS. I'm a longtime customer/consumer of both Firefox and the bank, and this is the first time I've been unable to log in. I prefer Firefox over Safari, but my bank was recommending that I use another browser...like Safari, Chrome...etc. What do you think is the reason for what I would assume is a software compatibility issue? This was the message left on the screen: "Requested URL was rejected."

Any help would be nice to keep me from using Safari...

Also had this on the StGeorge bank page https://www.ui.stgeorge.com.au/resolve/etb0/createCustComplaint - Next button does not work. other sites as well have buttons not working (about 20% of sites?) (Sorry both the above examples need accounts to test). Often (not always) if I open the page with Chrome it works. I think they were working ok after macOS update but after a Firefox update went to a very light screen - problem started then.

Also - using about:support the copy raw data button works; the copy text button does not.

My bank's online bill-pay option suddenly stopped working (after years of no problems). The bank's help desk said that many Firefox users are having the same problem after a recent Firefox update. So I had to switch to a different browser to pay my rent. PLease provide a fix. Thanks.

XML search results from the SEC EDGAR database appear to display now as flat text files under Firefox 153 instead of the SEC's beautifully formatted XML page display.

As a flat text files these are very hard to read.

Also when saving these files for processing, the save name is now "browse-edgar.html" when before it was "SEC.gov _ EDGAR Search Results.html"

Note also that when saving an html file the extention is intermittently .htm instead of .html.

When saving "DOM source of selection.html" as "text files" the extension will change to .txt instead of .html as it was earlier. When I save them a second time the extension will be corrected to .html as it was before. I have to catch these now or my Matlab code won't recognize the files in my download folder. I'm not sure which extension is correct.

Anyway lots of little things with this release.
