When opening Firefox, the screen turns white before page opens! There is a version that was updated for this issue however,at that time I did not have this issue! After downloading the newer version, I now have this white light issue! I like to mention, my computer never crashed! I believe (134.0.3), was the update that was a fix for the White Screen problem. And, I am using ver-139.0.4 (64 bit) (win. 10-64 bit) I appreciate any help with this issue! Thank you!!! geo (7/6/2025)

latest versions of firefox (now at 140.0.1) keeps opening onto my 2nd monitor which is off - how to stop it doing it. Tried making new profile which works for awhile, but sooner or later they all bump it to the 2nd monitor and it never comes back - tried moving to primary and closing it there, but next time back on #2. Open 2nd window while first is on primary, and that goes to 2nd monitor...

When I try to launch firefox, it opens only on the taskbar for a split second and doesn't launch. I don't see the program appear at all on task manager. I've restarted my computer and reinstalled multiple times. This problem persist across multiple computers

I got a new PC with Windows 11. I installed Thunderbird 136.0.1 , activated the private calendar, and entered events there. For events with a reminder that have a specific duration (e.g., Wednesday from 10 AM to 11 AM), I receive notifications. However, when I create a full-day event and want to be reminded, for example, 1 day before, I don't receive any notification. Additionally, events with a reminder are not shown in bold in the calendar overview (whether they have a specific duration or are all-day events). Can you please help me?

The archived emails have disappeared from my folder, and I can't find the archive location. There is no reference to any archive in All Mail, where Settings is set to store the file. I've looked at all other folders, including Local, but find nothing. Searching for Archive gives nothing.

I had not used the Firefox browser in a few days, so when I went back in today it asked me to update it. I did, and now every page I go to freezes and the browser locks up. Is there some way to get rid of this latest update? I have Windows 11.

Hi, Win 10 Pro new installation. Dell Optiplex MBR type Bios.

I had saved a recent profile to an external drive in its own name (i.e. not the profiles folder)

After the new Win 10 installation, I downloaded a new copy of Thunderbird.

I then copied the saved profile into the new Profiles folder, selected it in Choose user profile and started Thunderbird.

Thunderbird opened but not with the saved (8+ Gb) profile, just one new email account and asking for passwords to other email accounts I used before, and no folders.

I went back into the profiles folder and renamed all other profiles "OLDxxx999, but still the same one new email account when I opened Thunderbird.

I desperately need the saved email folders - I don't mind loading all the email accounts again, just need my court case history folders.

How can I force Thunderbird to use the saved profile, or can I identify and individually load in the saved local folders?

Thank you for any guidance towards a solution.

Dell tech reinstalled Windows 11, but missing info on my local folders now on 2nd drive. I have iDrive backup of both the drives, need help to find what I need. I'm Tbird supporter monthly and at other times. Sure can use some help as need some financial records that were in local folder files.

Appreciate help to find and restore my Local Folders which held the needed data.

I've been using tab grouping and it is really helpful.

But this morning when I created a new tab group called "MISC" I was unable to add any tabs to it.

1. I noticed that this new group happens to be the 11th group I've created. So I'm guessing that there may be a limit of ten groups. Am I right?

2. And now, some hours later, I see that the new MISC group does appear on my tab bar, but one of my old groups, TECH, has disappeared, but its contents seem to have been added to the MISC group.

Thunderbird n'arrêtait pas de demander le "nouveau mot de passe" et le rejetait constamment. Nous avons d'abord essayer de supprimer, puis ajouter le compte. Cela n'a pas marché. Nous avons désinstallé puis réinstallé Thunderbird. Puis, nous avons tenté d'ajouter le compte (avec protocole IMAP 993 SSL/TSL mot de passe normal et 465 SSL/TSL mot de passe normal). Hello, Thunderbird has interrupted the connection to a friend's Orange email account. The email address and password are correct (they allow access to the account online). Thunderbird kept asking for the ‘new password’ and constantly rejected it. We first tried deleting and then adding the account. That didn't work. We uninstalled and then reinstalled Thunderbird. Then we tried adding the account (with IMAP 993 SSL/TSL normal password and 465 SSL/TSL normal password). That didn't work. We restarted the computer each time. What can or should we do? Since Mozilla made Firefox Beta's update (B141.05), a few days ago, most fonts (.ttf's) and icons (.ico's) are matching the same color as the background (.bmp's) of the pages. Who else has noticed so? This does not help any user on any system. Connect.Mozilla.org - Who Agrees that Most Fonts are Camouflage to Websites?

 Only in Firefox on my windows 10 pro pc do I have to keep on signing into Homedepot.com with a security code?
 So I looked up the problem and one of the solutions (I tried a few) is to clear the old chache and cookies?
 Trying to do this.... get link after link after link.....after link.

How do you do it?

I'm in the process of migrating from Evolution to Thunderbird, but I seem to have hit a snag. In Evolution, there is an "Archive" folder, which any archived messages go into (attachment 1). This same folder also appears in K9 Mail (my mobile email client), and similarly is treated as special. In that first attachment, you can also see the "Archives" folder created by Thunderbird, which Evolution does not give any special treatment to.

However, in Thunderbird, the "Archive" folder is completely absent, both in the folder listing on the main page and in the "Copies & Folders" settings where an Archive folder would normally be selected (figure 2). Notice that the "Archives" folder is still present, and is now given special treatment, but the "Archive" folder is absent. Checking the contents of the "Archives" folder confirms that it doesn't contain the emails which K9 Mail and Evolution have been archiving.

Is there a way to access those archived emails from Thunderbird?

I am trying to use Firefox and when I click on the Icon nothing happens. I run it as Administrator and the browser open but I can not load any web pages. The only web browser that works is Duck Duck Go. Google Chrome does not work either.

when i MUTE some tabs (using the native FF tab mute icon on the tab) sound is muted for just that tab. HOWEVER, it also mutes ALL SYSTEM sounds.

This occurs both with my regular profile and using a default profile for my version (which has NO ADDONS).

It seems to depend on the type of delivery of the music. (Or something!)

This occurs for the following URLs:

However, rather interestinly, it DOES NOT OCCUR for the "standard" WRTI radio station:

it seems UNREASONABLE THAT A WEB SITE SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXERT ANY CONTROL upon system sounds.   So, I must presume this is a FF bug; however, I have not posted it as such (having no confirmation from others).

FF 139.04 Windows 10 pro

I'm having issues trying to use the manage colors settings for contrast control. I've been experimenting with changing the boxes for text and background under the "link colors" column, but I don't understand what the second column of boxes on the right side are. I'm actually trying this as a work around for an issue with visited link colors under the use system settings option--they turn purple against a black background so they're almost unreadable. I've asked about this before with no solution. Thanks for any help Karen F,
