When I go to my www.gmail.com Page, there are two places for personal information that are needed to sign in to my Inbox. And, they are :

E-mail address and Password.

What I am seriously concerned about is why as the above Page opens, my personal information are automatically in the two places ( E-mail address and Password ).

That's absolutely unacceptable.

Kindly help rectify the above ASAP.

It might be because for two reasons.

1. You click the button "save password" offered by Firefox every time you log in in certain websites or email.

2. Your "stay sign in" at your gmail is checked.

You can remove the Google (Gmail) cookies to make the website forget about you.

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

You can use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop-down list:

  1. click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
  2. highlight an entry in the drop-down list
  3. press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
