When I start a search crawler.com comes up and does the search, I do not want this, how do I get rid of this?

Firefox loads normally. The opening search screen is normal. When I begin a search on any topic, crawler.com opens and apparently does the search and displays the results in the firefox window. This slows the search process. I have gone to the add and remove programs and crawler does not exist there, how do I get the crawler.com off my computer?

The Crawler can be uninstalled like this:

       1
Open your web browser and click the "Crawler" button to open the Crawler Toolbar menu.
       2
Click "Help," then "Uninstall" to open the Crawler uninstallation utility. Check the box beside each Crawler Toolbar component you want to uninstall.
       3
Close all web browser windows and click the "Uninstall" button to begin the uninstallation process. Click "Yes" to allow the uninstallation utility permission to restart your computer once the uninstallation has completed.

This would do the trick. However if you didn't managed to remove it with these steps. you can also pay a visit to this topic and see the answers in there:
