new tabs closes on its own while i am typing an address

Sometimes when I open a new tab and start typing an address, the tab disappears as if it never existed. Don't know how to replicate it, as it is random and happens just often enough to disturb me. Also not sure at which point the tab dissappears, while I am typing or when I hit enter.

Pressing Ctrl+W will close the active tab, make sure your Ctrl keys are not stuck.

Try disabling your extensions.
