As of a few days ago it seems that every time that I try to copy some text and then switch tabs Firefox will just completely lock up on me. This is happening on two different systems of mine.

It's possible that your copying problem is being caused by a bug that should be fixed very soon in an upcoming Firefox release. As a temporary workaround, you can try to disable the new Suggested Actions feature in your Windows settings.
