Hi there, I would like to know if there are any predictions of an upcoming version of Firefox which would allow to do video recordings of the screen (aka screencasts) via an add-on that could be developed for that purpose. Chrome provides this feature for developers ever since, but Firefox is still behind. Curious about the response. Just would like to know what to expect. Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Jeronimo

If there is it would be a addon. AFAIK they are only making a browser what Addons/Extensions you use will be up to the user to customize.

Dear WestEnd, thanks for your prompt reply. I must say that I disagree on that. Unfortunately, there is no chance of some adon to magically appear and provide this feature to their end users. There is a limitation on Firefox that doesn't allow/recognize a function that would enable one's given browser to capture a screencast, just like Chrome does. This is a technical question that needs to be responded by a technical collaborator from Firefox. They will understand what am I talking about. I may look up for the given function that brings life to this feature on Chrome, if needed. Looking forward... Sincerely, Jeronimo
