How can I remove Yahoo search from firefox quantum?

Yahoo search is just not good enough. Results of searches are just not relevant.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE somebody tell me how to remove yahoo and go back to google search.

Yes I have tried the basic settings, and have run malware scans....

You don't have to remove it. Type about:preferences#search<enter> in the address bar. Then pick whatever engine you want as the primary.

Just to clarify, my problem was not the box of 'One click search engines' but the setting in - 'Choose the default search engine to use in the address bar and search bar.'

One final point of note if it helps others.

I use McAfee Live Safe Anti Virus which contains a feature called "Secure Search" it is this McAfee "Secure Search" which was taking me to "https://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?fr=mcafee&type=.... "

Its pretty rubbish though, the results are just not relevant to the search query.
