This happened since 2-3 days ago. I didn't install or download anything. Also, my settings are on "Remember history" and I have tried the custom settings. In addition, I'm not on private browsing. All of my history is still there except the ones from 2-3 days ago. For example, my "Today" history is not there. Bookmarking still works. I don't know if this helps but I do experience occasional crashes in Firefox although I doubt that would be the cause because I had experienced these crashes since a long time ago. This problem is only recent.

I included the troubleshooting information if that helps.

Do you otherwise have or had problems with the bookmarks or history?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Note that you will lose all history if you delete the places.sqlite file.
If necessary then try to drag (copy/paste) history items to a bookmarks folder and try to export the bookmarks to an HTML file.
Be sure to verify that the HTML file has the history items.

Thanks! I used the Place Maintenance add-on in the first article. It seems that my databases were corrupted. It was fixed as soon as I used their check and restarted Firefox!
