If you have had Thunderbird up and working for some time and all of a sudden you cant send Emails the prefrs.js file under %APPDATA%/Thunderbird/Profiles/xxxxx.default/ folder is corrupted.

Solved: replaced the prefrs.js file under %APPDATA%/Thunderbird/Profiles/xxxxx.default/ folder.

Everyone should backup their Thunderbird folder.
