In the past when I was using Firefox as my search engine I did not have a problem when I updated my TomTom. Now when I try to update it I am asked to install Adobe Flash player even though I have the latest version on my computer. I do not have the same problem if I use Google Chrome as my search engine and I can update it without a problem. Can you please suggest a way round it.

Your heading says Adobe Reader and the explanation below says Adobe Flash. Neither of these is shown in your System Details under Plug-ins. Is this the actual computer the question is about? Incidentally, Firefox and Google Chrome are web browsers and not search engines. Google, Bing and Yahoo, for example are search engines.

If you are referring to Adobe Flash - Chrome comes with the Pepper version of Flash, while Firefox needs the Plugin version of Flash. Not included with Firefox due to licensing. Mozilla is open source & won't include Flash which is a proprietary application.
