I live in a mountainous area and my ISP connection is over an unreliable and slow dial up line. I have an out dated version of Firefox. How can i receive an up to date version on a CD?

The new release cycle in Firefox means that newer versions of Firefox will be released much faster. However, each one of these versions will have less new features than the usual "cummulative" update that we used to offer in a larger timeframe. This also means the transition from version 5 to version 4 is much less significant than version 4 to version 3. We like to recommend our users to update as fast as possible, because we only provide support and security updates for the newest versions. However, we currently do not sell nor give away Firefox CDs at our store, and considering the rate of new versions coming in the future, you would possibly end up with a huge collection of Firefox CDs. I'm not sure, in your case, in what I should recommend you, and I assume it is difficult for you to find other place connected with faster internet, so, I think you could try to download Firefox nevertheless. Maybe dial-up is enough to download Firefox!
