I have version 22.0 on my new iPad but several sites say my version is no longer supported. Cannot update from Apps store

can not get sites to recognize i am running the lastest version of Mozilla and I am unable to “update” in the App store on my iPad, 7th gen. I also get notices from gmail saying my browser needs updated

Apparently UA parser of these pages doesn't recognize Firefox for iOS as the recent browser.

I'd suggest you to file a bug on https://webcompat.com/ .
