Youtube Playback Error High Sierra

Firefox 55.0.3 (64-bit) Mac OS 10.13 (2017/09/25) Fresh Installation. No add-ons, extensions, plugins, or blockers. All data cleared (cookies, history, etc.)

Same machine runs youtube videos in Firefox under Sierra without problem. VLC stream of same video works fine under High Sierra.

Reinstalled macOS and Youtube now works in Firefox.
